DO I NEED CONSENT FROM MY VET FOR TREATMENT?

You must have the approval of a veterinary surgeon before I can treat your animal. It is currently illegal for any person to carry out a manipulative therapy on any pet without consent from their vet. Please contact me if you require any assistance with this.

IS THE TREATMENT SAFE?

McTimoney treatment is very safe. Prior to any treatment I will take a full history about the animal to ensure that there are no reasons why it should not receive treatment. If I suspect a problem which requires further investigation then I will refer you to your vet before giving any treatment. The treatment uses only my hands to make adjustments to the animal's musculoskeletal system.

WILL MY ANIMAL LIKE THE TREATMENT?

On the whole animals readily receive the treatment.

ARE YOU INSURED?

I am fully insured with Balens.  Membership to MAA and RAMP guarantees that I hold the appropriate insurance.

CAN I CLAIM ON MY ANIMAL'S INSURANCE?

Most major insurance companies cover McTimoney treatment for your animal. However, it is best to phone up your insurance company and check if you are unsure.

WHAT ANIMALS DO YOU TREAT?

McTimoney practitioners can work on all kinds of animals, but the most common are dogs, horses, cats, and farm animals.
