What to expect...
A visit starts with a thorough history taking which helps me to get an understanding of your animal's day-to-day lifestyle, we will discuss any previous or current illnesses, injuries, or specific concerns you have. I will clarify that Veterinary consent has been given at this point so that treatment can take place - please contact me if you require any assistance with this before your appointment.
Your animal is then assessed standing before being asked to walk and trot up and down in a straight line, horses are additionally circled and backed up. This enables me to observe any gait abnormalities, I can see how the animal is moving, any obvious tension which is affecting movement, any muscle asymmetry and any lameness. If any undiagnosed lameness is apparent, then the animal will be referred back to the vet.

I will palpate and locate any areas of tension and discomfort while feeling the neck, spine and pelvis to check for any misalignments. Misalignments are then treated using McTimoney chiropractic techniques, the adjustments are gentle and made using only my hands. After this soft tissue techniques and low level laser therapy may be used to release any tension.
After the treatment I will provide aftercare advice in regards to exercise and routine management. Advice is given regarding future treatments.
